 Intel officially unveiled new flagship Core i9-12900KS. According to the company - it will be the fastest chip in the world.


The Core i9-12900KS is made from Alder Lake chips. Their level of automatic overclocking is higher than the previous Core i9-12900K model. And using Thermal Velocity Boost and Intel Adaptive Boost Technology the new chip can automatically overclock up to 5.5 GHz.


The model has eight high-performance P-core and eight energy-efficient E-core with support for 24 virtual threads, as well as an integrated graphics core Intel UHD Graphics 770. The processor supports DDR5-4800 and DDR4-3200 RAM standards.


Sales are scheduled to start on April 5, the price of the Core i9-12900KS will be $739.
